I made cards for the children in the Bridgeways program during this time. I liked knowing that my work was going to kids in need to help them feel better! The most challenging part of this was using phrases that I thought would really make an impact with these children. My key takeaway from this service learning was that even something as simple as an encouraging note can make an impact on the lives of children!

I enjoyed the interactiveness of this experience. Throughout college I have not had many hands on learning experiences and I feel as though this was extremely beneficial. The most challenging part of this was finding the right thing to say to each person to ensure I was not saying anything that could harm them. My key takeaway from this was how much I enjoy helping others especially to better their mental health.
