About
Join us at the UAB Solar House and Sustainable Community to help prepare for and establish our new perennial garden!
On July 30th, we will be clearing grasses from a small plot in front of the Solar House to make way for our new garden. We will also be weeding the Monarch Waystation around the Solar House.
On August 6th, we will begin planting native flowers and shrubs in the designated plot.
Volunteers can sign up for one or both events. We hope you will join us in supporting our pollinators!

Water and gloves will be available. This is an outdoor event, so volunteers should prepare for hot weather.
