Thank you for your interest in participating in Into the Streets. The Leadership & Service Council is currently recruiting service projects for this fall's event. Please return to the BlazerPulse site throughout the next few months to see newly posted volunteer projects. Pre-registration through BlazerPulse is required for this year's event.
Into the Streets is a bi-annual program sponsored by the Leadership and Service Council designed to connect UAB students, faculty, and staff to the Birmingham community through a day of service. As a part of this year's event, we will be celebrating the 20th year of Into the Streets service (established in 1999) as well as contributing to UAB's 50th anniversary as one of the 50 Acts of Service.
Students, faculty, and staff can pre-register for Into the Streets by registering for a site listed below. Participation is not allowed without a submission of a waiver. Waivers will be available at the Kick Off Celebration hosted prior to service on Saturday, March 23 at 8:30am in the Hill Student Center Amphitheater. Volunteers under the age of 19 must submit a waiver signed by their guardian. Click here to download a waiver.
Following the Kick Off Celebration, volunteers will depart for service from 9:30am - 12:30pm.
