About

ATTENTION: DUE TO THE CONCERNS OF COVID-19, UBFM HAS AGREED TO TEMPORARILY SUSPEND ALL OFFICIAL ACTIVITIES INDEFINITELY. EVEN IF AN EVEN IS "OPEN" IT IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. UBFM IS TAKING PRECAUTIONS AND ASSESSING OUR SITUATION ON THE FIRST OF EACH MONTH.

UPDATE: THE URBAN BICYCLE FOOD MINISTRY HAS DECIDED TO CANCEL ALL EVENTS FOR THE REMAINDER OF 2020. UNFORTUNATELY, WE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING ANY NEW PARTICIPANTS UNTIL IT IS DEEMED SAFE TO DO SO. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR COOPERATION AND SUPPORT!

Join us for our Saturday morning ride. We'll meet up at the Carpenter's House and split into groups. You'll be assigned to a group with an experienced team lead and each group will take a section of midtown or downtown. We ride the streets of downtown Memphis seeking out the homeless and hungry and distribute necessities like water and food (especially burritos). We also give out supplies based on the season: gloves and blankets in the winter, extra water and bug spray in the summer.
