Latino Memphis has partnered with the Memphis Grizzlies Foundation to create Caminos, a mentorship program for high school students in Memphis area. Latino high school students have the highest dropout rate of any minority. Studies show that youth with mentors not only have a higher graduation rate, but it increases self confidence and goal setting abilities. Caminos aims to provide a path for students to cultivate their talents and set academic goals through one-to-one mentoring.
Training & Support As a mentor in Caminos, you will first complete New Mentor Training with the Memphis Grizzlies Foundation. Once you have finished training and completed all application requirements, you will have access to resources that will help you plan and schedule your activities.
